Shock Bushings
Need some new shock bushings,I have some Garys bushings in now and they are gone, so was looking for something else.
So I need some info on another type or brand.
Need part # s or sizes, any info that will help.
Dont want to put the same back in, I feel they should have lasted longer.
Im getting some high speed wollowing, in the high speed turns, 60mph up to 80mph and up
Thanks

Re: Shock Bushings
I just went down an picked up some poly bushings today and cut them down to size and made my own bushings. Garys bushings only lasted about 18 mos.
They were so tight, I had to press them into the shock with my vise and drive them on with a rubber hammer. They are tight.
Will try it out tomorrow.

Re: Shock Bushings
I made a set from silicone bronze bushing stock we use at work. They were very solid, although maybe a tad harsh. Definately transferred more road vibrations to the bike, but if you want the ultimate in solid, no squishy feel they are the way to go.
