Just installed a michelin green x energy P205/60R16 91Htire (205/60r/16, 44 psi), with great results. One question i had is, the rim gets pretty warm but maybe it did before the switch. Great site & thanks for all the posts. You guys convinced me. I have an 04 1300 vtx with 52,000miles on it. Rode almost 100 miles today with great results. I'll post pic's soon.

Welcome to the darkside.....Jump into any thread you like....What bike are you riding? Any pictures you feel like sharing? Be sure to post a ride report after you get some mileage on it. It only gets better as it gets broken in...

Iham,

Are you foots modded? If you are running a 205/60/16 on a 1300?

Just so you know....your rim has always gotten hot. Road friction from the tires and heat from the asphalt will naturally heat one of them up. Take a drive in you cage and get out and fill your car tire rims and you will know how hot they can get!
