Sound just like a police HD in the loudness department, BUT with a unique lop to the cadence. Very quiet compared to the HK's. I think a holesaw to the baffles are in order. Always easier to make louder than quiet one down.

Chrome ...Ceramic coat ? The one's on my blue bike are painted black ( stove paint ) I have to touch them up from time to time but you can buy a Qt. @ Wally World for about $10.00 . The ones on my yellow bike are ceramic coated and cost around $160.00 to have that done.

Heres what happened when I used the rattle can ceramic coat...These " cured " 3 weeks before I installed them and this happened as soon as I started it.

I have over 35,000 miles on the ceramic coated one and they still look great. These people use UPS to ship if interested.

Smokey, now why would you want to start scaring people away? I ain't got much room to talk, but I know just how good a paper bag can be at times. That's why I normally take the pictures instead of being in them.

I got 52 and 50.5 mpg this weekend two up with my twin pipe mod with out rejecting for the new pipes. My wife and I were impressed with our mpg!

There is nothing I would like more than t turbo diesel bike and one of these days.....

Even at the current prices I still love my diesel truck. It has tons of power, and still gets 23mpg. My V-10 gasser had less power and 13mpg.

Now, as to the current fuel prices in general..... I'll leave that for another day

I make my own biodiesel from used cooking oil, works out to be 96cents a gal and the truck and tractor runs better on it.

I got one more baffle to cut out before I re-jet the carb. Too quiet though, even the wife says make it louder. I wanted to see what I had before I made changes. The bike wasn't too happy with the pipes at first, kinda hickuped and backfired some. Did a road trip with the weekend and got 52 mpg two up! This morning it was fine and didn't do any of that. Cranked without chocking it which I never choked my bike to start it, so this is normal.

Now as far performance.....I lost a little with the two into one. I lost bottom end grunt that I noticed, every thing else was the same. Of course it's just a little louder than stock and I was running HK's without baffles. So, jetting is going to be off. I am drilling the baffle out this week and then re-jet and then I will give a full report on them.

ALL BUB's except right up to the collector and some of that is even BUB's. Of course I have some of the bends on the lower or front pipe that are HD and I only used the bends to get the correct fit! The rear pipe I cut 2 1/2" out of the turn down right in front of the collector and added 1 1/4" from where it leaves the cylinder to make room for the muffler large diameter, yet keep it snug!

So yeh! It's 80% BUB's......hehehehehehe We are the "red headed step child" of the BUB club...
