Would this Cooper tire work, or is the speed rating too low (H)? It looks a lot like the Toyo Proxes tread.

Cooper Zeon ZPT 215/45 R18 $83.00

Size 215/45R18 89H
Speed Rating H (130mph)
O.D. 25.67

It looks like it should work fine.....most of the guys on here with the 18" tire are using the T1R by Toyo! Unless one of the guys with an 1800 has some knowledge of that brand, the size is on the money!

Nodakbassmaster is the man in the know about this. PM him if he doesn't post!

Oh, yea! I forgot......Welcome to the sight and glad you have registered with us. Good group of guys and girls here. We have women riding the darkside too!

8.3" is the absolute max width... so it sounds like it should work but it might be close!!

Give'r hell and let us know what you think and post pics once it's installed!

After reading 4 pages of reviews I decided against the Zeon ZPT. It is funny how most say these tires are slippery, but some like the traction. Most say they are loud, some say quiet.

Well, car reviews might not apply, expecially with cager's varying opinions/suspension set ups/driving styles. Then throw in air pressures for another big variable.

It would be nice to have alternatives in case our T1R gets discontinued Shocked
