Road two up today on my Wideside 205.
WOW!!!!!!! What a difference in riding two up on my Douglas 205 wideside! My wife and I Saturday got invite to a crawfish boil, and we decided to take the bike to try out the trunk and see how it fit her. I forgot that we have never had tried out the 205 yet either.
After the first 100 yards my wife said this is fine! I asked her if it was the trunk and she said NO...it's the ride. It's fantastic. An talk about a smooth ride and bumps in our Louisiana roads were not felt at all. It actually felt like it was gliding over the rough stuff, dips, cracks and crevices (and the that's the good parts of LA road..........hehehehehe).
How many of you have got to ride two up yet? Give me your review of it???

I did for about 1700 miles in a weekend . Dude approves. Get her a better seat than stock and she won't let you take it out the drive without her on it.
See you out there Smokey

My wife didn't notice any difference, but then again my wideside is a light truck tire at higher psi than yours.
Come to think about it, she never complained about the ride at all with the stock tire after I put a mustang seat on it. If she can ride around in an empty one ton diesel and still have functioning kidneys then there ain't a bike around that'll hurt her.

Put her on an old hardtail. That will get her attention.

I could tell the difference too! It was a 10 times a smoother ride to me also! I guess the 205 with the 30 psi air pressure, it shows up more. My wife does tend to notice things like that anyway! She keeps up with what I do to the bike and if I do something, she notices right off the bat what it is and ask why?

With that being said. Her ESB has helped me find a few flaws that otherwise I would have never found myself.
Yall ride safe.

Re: Road two up today on my Wideside 205.
I rode two-up this past week with my wife and she LOVED it. Said it was alot smoother. It finally got warm enough for her to ride with me. She only rides if it's 80 degrees by 7 am. Ha ha ha...
Anyways... the ride was great and the wife thought it was really smoother than the MCT.
