UPDATE - Final itinerary
SSgt Michael Gabel, 30, Baton Rouge, LA 21 & 22 Dec 07

Friday 21 Dec 07 - Visitation/Wake - Rabenhorst East Funeral Home - 11000 Florida Blvd. from 1600 to 2000 Friday evening. Would like to have some members there for 1530 to set up flags at funeral home entrance. Will rotate. More people = quicker rotations.

Saturday 22 Dec 07 - Funeral service. We will NOT escort from funeral home to church. Those that can be at St. Thomas More Church early - 0930 - we'll have flags set up to welcome SSgt. Gabel and his family at the church. - link for mapquest (cut & paste)

Visitation will go Saturday morning from 1000 to 1030 when the service starts. Service should go till 1130 or 1200. Then we will escort from the church to the Port Hudson National Cemetary.

Many thanks to those of you who rode today to bring SSgt. Gabel from the airport to the funeral home. The family was very touched and appreciative. Ride safe.

Thanks Muntz for posting that. I heard about the ride yesterday from the airport and couldn't get off work...will not be able to make it Friday either.
