best and worst day ever

ok that was a bit of an exageration but none the less friday i spent all day workin on the scoot got the douglas mounted so i have officially graduated to the wide side and i customized my exhaust. so i went to my parents that night to show my dad also an x rider, we made a run out to my moms shop to take care of some stuff and this is were my day goes south on the way home it starts to rain no big deal i ride every day so rain doesnt bother me well comming up on a slow right turn to enter the acess road my front tire hit some oil and locked up dumping me and the bike on to the concrete and scaring the hell out of my parents which were riding right in front of me. well the bike did well only thing i damaged was my right peg and the rear brake lever. bent the brake back when i got home and will be looking for a replacement peg for the right, so if anybody has one they dont need let me know. i am fine just busted my knee pretty bad so i am hobbling around like a gimp right now but other than that i am fine .

p.s i will be posting pics and a write up of my exhaust mod tommorrow i call it the international mod yall will get a kick out of it.

Sorry to hear about the mishap. Glad things aren't worse for you or the scoot. Sorry I don't have a peg for you. Mine were pretty ground up when I gave them away. Looking forward to your exhaust writeup.

Sorry about the mishap, and am glad you're OK. I replaced my standard pegs with Kurys, so you can have those, including extra skid pins, just let me know.

thank for the support guys. knee is fine still pretty sore but i can still ride and hold the bike just fine. bruised my ego more than anything and pissed me off there was a lady wanting to turn behind us and she kept honking as i picked up my scoot and got outta the way some peole are just plain rude

Sorry to hear about the wreck...... I know, the only time I ever went down was the terrible stock Dunlop on the front that locked up on me also. I hope you heal up soon and the scoot gets back to normal. Sorry, I don't have any parts for or I would send them to you.
