1800R anyone using 195-65 or 60r16 ? instead of 205-65r16
hey guys my OLD Michelin hydroedge is cracking on sidewalls it's 6 or 7 years old still looks new on thread. since the tire always rubbed a bit on the driveshaft arm , just wondering before I buy the X-ICE replacement of the Hydroedge if any one has tried the thinner 195 tire in either 60 or 65 sidewall height versions?
thanks

I started out with the Michlen Hydeoedge 205/60r 16 and loved the way it handled in the rain. I did however notice a bit of snap back, nothing severe, but I did notice it. I took a bolt near the edge and couldn't find a replacement tire so went to the Goodyear assurance trippletread. I put 60k on my first one and have 45k on my current one. I run at 42 llbs.
The snap back effect dissappeared. Ordered from Simpletire.com for $118.99 shipped

I bought a x-ice 195/60r16. but i'm waiting to get a back surgery so i have to wait to have my son take it off and install it. this size looks like it will work out much better with less SNAP . will let you know when I do it.
