Polishing Aluminum Rims?
Hey there everyone.
I was wonder if anyone could tell me if I can polish my OEM rims that came on a 2004 1300C ?
It looks like they have a clear coat or something on them.
But they also have a dull look especially on the inside of the aluminum spokes,it looks more like rough aluminum from the molding.
I seen where several people has polished the aluminum fins on the heads & it looks sharp.
Anyway if anyone knows anything about this please PM me or just post.

I use 1000 and 1500 grit wet sandpaper followed by Mother's Aluminum Polish. It does'nt take long if the bike is up on a stand or jack.

polishing rims
Hey there thanks for the replys.
I think I`ll polish the outsides & paint the insides of the spokes that seems to be a rougher aluminum,so it will match my motor when I paint it in the future...
Thanks again for the replys..Ride Safe..lovingmyhondavtx

That's what a few others have done...looked really good and the paint set it off more too.
Good luck..i did the rear wheel on mine...took some time but it turned out well...still gonna go chrome I think.
