Finally went DarkSide on my X1800F
I put the Hankook Ventus on yesterday, went right in thanks to taking off the dust cover, jacking the bike way up, rolled the tire in and lowered the jack to line up the axle bolt. NO issues or need to lube up the sides of the tire!!!! I started at 37 psi, rode 1 mile and jumped up to 43, rode 10 more miles looking like I was warming up tires in NASCAR ( swerving back and forth at 30 mph almost rubbing the pegs.). I then went for the burn out....tire works a little to well and couldn't get it spinning on a side road.
The ride took a few minutes to get used to but I am loving it already. I had to try it out so rolled the throttle hard to 95, smooth as glass with the +\- 4oz dyna beads (spilled very few putting the in after the tire was mounted (I brought a can of spray Teflon to help mount it instead of the soap commonly used)
