Less Twitchiness with a Car Tire
Until recently I've been riding my 1800 Goldwing and Honda ST-1300, both with car tires mounted on the rear wheels. I have recently taken my 1500 Wing out of winter storage and it has a motorcycle tire on the rear. I immediately found the bike to be "twitchy". Any slight movement of the handlebars or of my body, tends to cause the motorcycle to move left or right. Of course it won't be long before I am switching from one bike to the other and will not notice the difference, but I was surprised at lack of directional stability offered by the motorcycle tire.
