I'll let a Harley saddlebag tell the tale of today's ride
We took off this morning with temps in the low 20's. Did'nt have nowhere special to go we was just ridin'. The ride turned into a outstanding ride through the Cumberland mountains and the Obed River basin. Hwy.53 from Jamestown to Livingston is a beautiful road for the art of motorcycling but it did come at a cost " SALT " Big Al , Detn8er and I did " The Salt Ride 1 " 2 years ago in Hot Springs , NC . Todays ride was'nt as bad as " The Salt Ride 1 " but it did get the name " The Salt Ride 2 " All the bikes have been cleaned up from today's ride...Let's do it again

Ozone Falls is cookin' again
Back in the summer it was just about dry from the lack of rain.Ozone has no rails so if you ever come to check it out be careful its a long way to the bottom and many have fell to their death here.

The gateway to Big South Fork ...The Obed River...This is some beautiful country and the roads are awesome on a bike. Nice curves and sweepers along Hwy. 53 and Hwy.70.

Snow was'nt that bad on the traveled part of the road but the salt was a bitch. Its a great place to ride the Obed River and Dale Hollow Lake area has some nice roads . I hope to meet and ride with some of the folks from this site.
