He's back. Insp#484 emailed me these pictures to post for him, so here they are. I got his 165, cuz he was ready for the big step-up to the 205. He didn't stay homeless for long Very Happy

Thanks kermit,

I knew he wasn't going any where........"once you go dark, you wont go back".........hehehehehe

Nice looking tire....It's a PRIMEWELL. I have never heard of that brand.......I see it's a 205/70 like the size of the "Grabber" that George and Brandon's has.

I told him to call Steve when he's ready to mount it. He mounted the 165 by himself (still don't know how he managed), but I think this one will be more of a chore for 1 person. Steve says he's ready whenever.

Has anyone got a report on how their bike handles corners or curves with the tread going different directions from one side to the other? Just curious.

Jerry,

Of all the 1300 darksiders.....about 90% of them from the original 1300 darkside site that went to the darkside we didn't have an option of a unitread pattern. We all ran the 165's and you couldn't get anything other than a universal tire tread pattern. It works so good that you don't even notice turning left or right. That's why I even considered going with the Douglas 205 as an option with it's tread pattern, because the 165 did so well for me with it's universal tread, I have no issue or hang up with trying it.

Others will come on and tell you the same thing.

Yes siree shadowfax has the prime well 205 70 15 and looks too sweet the die hard harly guys at the shop I bought the bike from thought it was sweet. I put about ten miles on it and of course I love it. I dropped the air pressure to 35. So smooth and easy..............since I have stock exhaust I had to turn one of my bracket bolts around to clear better. Texarkana is sure getting Dark...............
