Going Tubeless with a spoke wheel
I've read in the past about sealing the spokes inside the rim with clear silicone. Has anyone on here done this or had experience with that facet of going tubeless? Also, the rear tire on my Virago 250 is a 130/90-15....any idea what car tire would fit that scenario?

Re: Going Tubeless with a spoke wheel
I sealed mine with the 3M 5200 marine adhesive sealant. I am not sure clear silicone would work. Great advice on here how to seal your spoked rims. Do a search. It can take up to 100 psi to seat the bead on a car tire on a MC rim, it took 120 psi to seat my Goodyear Triple Tread on my VTX 1800 rim. Here are a couple of photos of mine.

Silicone contains a salt, not a good idea on metal.
This is why I went with the 5200
