Ready to go Dark Again
I am ready to get back where I belong ... DarkSide. My question is about the TPMS on my 2010. Are you guys disabling the TPMS with the run flats or running high enough pressures to accommodate the TPMS. I'm thinking about a Kuhmo 195/55/16.

A friend of ours runs a Falken 195/55/16 at 40psi and didn't have to disable his TPMS.

Re: Ready to go Dark Again
My brother on his wing used the Proxes twice and once he went with the T1R for his third car tire he said he would use the Proxes series again.

That's a "Proxes". It's short for Proxes 4 which is a Toyo style of tire and the T1R is another style of tire that Toyo makes. They are manufactured for different applications and my brother liked the T1R better. How's that?

I'll be interested to hear what you think of that tire. In about 37,000 miles I should be ready to change the big GYTT.

Not sure which way I will go Dino. I'm tempted to try a Kumho run flat.

Re: Ready to go Dark Again
I have 08 wing and have not had to disconnect anything I run a 205/55/16 kuhmo at 40 lbs. Only problem I had was to give it a lite kick past the lug bolts. (lite kick)

Re: Ready to go Dark Again
I was told with a little dish soap, that tire will slide right in. It helped on my 205/60/16 GYTT.

Hey Len, What tire did you decide on???
And more important.... Have you figured out what all those buttons on the handlebars do?
I might be needing some help soon.

Re: Ready to go Dark Again
Hey Doc, it does not take long to get teh hang of all the buttons. It looks intimidating at first but reading your owners manual while you are rolling down the road and playing with the buttons it comes together pretty quick Ya know I'm kidding right ..... everyone knows I don't read, nor follow instructions.
Actually the buttons do make sense pretty quick.
See you out there
