We just celebrated our "day of the flag" on the 2nd of July.

FYI. Our island was also discovered in 1492.

We rode last night to our town to watch some fireworks...They did a nice job

And don't get me started on what is being done to our country...It's very sad....

Well, we have a new government since almost a year and they definitely are doing a great job bringing
us down. They wish to be independent, which is good IF the possibility is there. But with 140.000 inhabitants
there's no way you can achieve this. They are admires of Chavez from Venezuela, who also offered them
help, like he also have done to other (poor) islands in the Caribbean.
All this due to feelings based on the period of slavery. They wish no interfering of The Netherlands at all.
