need help
I put a 205 65 r15 on my 2000 honda shadow aero and i am having problems. It is really squirrely around 70 mph feels like when u change lanes and u hit the center of the road and the bike shakes. But when that happens it quites after u get out of the center this shake does not it will get worst if i dont slow the bike down. I have played with the pressure ran 45 psi, 40 psi, 35 psi, 30psi, and 25 psi and it still does it. This bike has factory wheels spokes the tire has a tube in it. I wonder if it is a balancing prolem. dont know. PLEASE HELP

Re: need help
Other more technical guys will chime in soon, but you better find out first if the wheel is balanced or not.
You might consider dynabeads, instead of the traditional lead, but you do need to balance it !
Good luck, Robert.

Re: need help
Since you have run the different tire pressures that narrows yor weave issue down considerably, here are three things to check and I am will to bet a paycheck you will find your problem.
Shock bushings
shock bushings
shock bushings
To check them all you need to do is look at the mounting bolts to see if they are centered in the hole in the shock. With it happening at such a slow speed that indicates they are in pretty rough shape and should be obvious.
A lot of us on here have replaced the stock junk rubber bushings with a nylon or teflon bushing from motion industries.
Check them out and if for some reason I am wwwrroooo (said like fonzy, and if you dont get that reference I need to check your ID before we let you in this establishment ) you may need to check steering head bearings, but I am 99.98% positive you will find junk shock bushings.
See you out there
