02 midnight venture

I am hoping to come to the dark side. Does anybody no where i can go in the Frisco Tx area to have a tire mounted on my bike. Also do most of you take the wheel off and take it to the tire shop yourselfs.

Most just take the wheel off and bring it to someone! If you bring the just the rim...most car tire shops will mount them. That's who done my last one's and Buddha's 1800, but sorry! It's in LA.

Got mine mounted at Discount tire here in Katy. It helps if you buy the tire there also.

Thank you very much. I haven't had a bike in about 13 years, I bought this bike in august with 6500 miles on it. Now it has 12300 on it. I put new tires on it at around 8000 miles. As soon as it is time to change i am going to the Darkside. Thanks for the help. Mark

Well, i tried to have a tire put on my bike right before thanksgiving. After trying to get it to bead for almost an hour, i had the guys take it off and just put a bike tire back on because we were going for a Thanksgiving ride in central Tx. So i guess i will try again when this tire wears out in a few months. Thanks

Depending on tire it can sometimes take 100+ lbs to seat it. It can be dangerous. Most go with tried and tested tires. Good luck next time.
