Vulcan 1600 Mean Streak

I am currently riding a VTX1300 but I'm looking at a '07 1600 Mean Streak and would like to hear anyone's opinion on the bike - how it runs, handling, power, ect. Thanks alot.

Can't speak to the meanstreak,never ridden one and don't know anyone that has one.I can however tell you my 05 nomad 1600 has done everything I asked of it for almost six years and a little less than 30000 miles,I think it is basically the same bike,I would buy it again. However Lham's 1300 vtx would out pull it,it was tweaked a little.

Thanks for the input. Of what I can find online, there are conflicting reports on the performance. Most reviews by owners seem very positive and like yourself there seems to be a very loyal following of classics and nomad riders nout there and we all know the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm still mulling over the decission and if I go through with it I'll post my thoughts on the bike. Once again thanks for your thoughts.
