" The Fall Color Ride " Robbinsville, NC ...Oct...15-16-17

Ride-in on friday evening Oct.15 for the pre-ride firepit party at ground zero The Phillips Motel ...290 Main Street,Robbinsville, North Carolina. Saturday Oct.16 we'll ride into the mountains to check out the fantastic roads and scenic mountain views this area offers .The maples and poplars are already in fall color scheme and we should hit near peak .Keep in mind we will be in the mountains so correct riding gear will be in order this is I believe the 8th year we've had this ride and I've rode in everything from a t-shirt to heavy cold weather gear. Last year was by far the worse weather we've had on this ride over the years with rain,wind and cold temps so I'm hoping we've paid the dues and will have beautiful cool fall weather this year with nothing but blue sky's and dry roads After the ride we will return to Robbinsville for supper and the post ride firepit party ( I talked to Miss Reba and she did order us a couple loads of firewood ) .Ground zero is " Sold Out " however the list below will give you information on a couple more motel accommodation's .Looking forward to this ride as I do every year we have some outstanding folks come join us year after year on this ride Again just a reminder we will be in the mountains so bring gear to keep you warm if needed. Another reminder is Robbinsville is " DRY " so anything you want to drink ( adult beverage ) you must bring with you....Bring It...LET'S RIDE

It would drive me utterly crazy to be on the Dragon or thereabouts with all the leaf gawkers putting along at half the speed limit. I think I'll probably wait for the cold weather when they all go home.

No have made other plans months before... I ride a BigGreen Valk Trike and a BigBlack Valk Trike...
Mate rides all Valks ....

Plus We go to The Super Stop Hot Rod Cafe in Belfast..
He has Bike and car night from June - Oct...
His last one is Oct 30 ..5pm ... We will be there ... Bring candy for the kids...

We are rollin' out in the morning ( friday ) with some friends from Il. that are staying the night here in my hometown. We are going to take the long scenic route to Robbinsville and should arrive around 5:00....See you there ....Bring It....LET'S RIDE

As I stated before Tracy I thought y'all had reservations it's looking like we'll have one of the largest groups ever to show up for this ride and the weather is looking outstanding as well.I always enjoy hangin' out and riding with you and Don...Y'all will be missed.

I know you had GREAT weather !!

Wow, what a great weekend. The weather was perfect, frost in the morning and beautiful sunshine all day. Fairly light traffic and awesome roads to ride all day. Not to mention the great people we got to meet or see again. Couldn't ask for a better weekend on a motorcycle. Makes it even better when you ride in with the group that was able to hang in for 200 + miles of tearing it up.
