measurments

went to the tire store yesterday and found the following......(gateway texarkana TX)
all comparisons were made with the old worn mc tire on hand to compare 24 1/2 tall 6 3/4 wide.Of course the tire on Shadowfax right now is the sonar 165/80/15 which kermit has dibs on when I get my new tire we are just gonna swap rims and all that way kermit gets a tire thats broke in with maybe 1100 miles and I dont have to throw away a perfectly good darkside.

185/65/15 fuzion HRI 24 1/4 tall 7 1/4 wide $59.39 sweet pattern too short

205/65/15 Wanli 25 1/4 tall 7 1/2 wide $60.64 me thinks winner

205/65/15 Toyo Spectrum 25 tall 7 3/4 wide $76.26

( all measurments are tape level and eyeball so may not be exact and will definatley change some when aired up I am sure)
I want the Wanli for height but I am not sure about the width or the way it will look squeezed at the rim all I need is for one of you guys to gimme the treads measured width of your 205 /65 and 205 /70

so will wanli carry me into 2015 or what?

Don't forget the most important measurements....outside to outside at the bead to see if it will fit the the narrow rim with. It at least needs to 5" or less to have a chance!!!!!!!

Post some pics of these tires? I am happy that Kermit is getting your old darkside with a 1000 miles on it. Good atta' boy for passing it on! Heck that thing isn't hurt. At a 1000 miles you couldn't even tell I had road mine. Of course she will be our first woman Darksider.
