Patches
For every one interested in patches. We are currently out of patches. There is a thread asking for designs for the new version. So far we have no new designs submitted for the new patches. We do have a selection that were submitted for last year.
Soooooo
1) submit new ideas for the patches
2) vote for the patch design you prefer.
3) I DONT HAVE ANY
See you out there

Make them collectors! If we make new ones every year, they become collectors for us darksiders!

Re: Patches
I am interested in a new patch for the year. Actually put me down for two.
Horse.
Please post up all the patches from last year. I know I had a few of them submitted but Ill be damned if I can find them. Could be new computer huh? Anyway, I have a back patch on both vests and one of the vests I cant addanything to the back anyway. Rulz suck.... But I dont think we can go wrong in doing a yearly patch. Good concept anyway.
Peace

Re: Patches
Here is my first entry for this year. Remember this was done with photoshop. It could use some tweaking.

Re: Patches
What if we went a different route? I really like last years patch.
I also like the really cool motto suggestion... "PRO EFFECTUS PRO SALUS PRO VITA" - ahem...
What if we kept the original patch and then did a yearly "hash-mark" style patch? Military guys will know what I mean.
Essentially a smaller patch that would have the year and maybe a phrase or something simple. then every year we add another hash-mark.
I also have an idea for a patch but have not been able to get it made with the Google software. It has been driving me crazy. Now that I know we are still looking maybe I will spend some more time on it. I know a guy that does graphic design. Maybe I can get a favor.
I'll get back to you.

Re: Patches
I like #2 above...of the ones listed!
Former Airborne Medic...familure with "hash marks", but not sure how they would be used on the patch. ??
What if you had a note on the patch like "Member since 2010" or some such...?

Re: Patches
When I said "Hash Marks" I meant something more like this:
This way we get some "brand recognition" by keeping the same main patch, but still have something new (and cheap) for every year.
You could put the main DS patch at say the top of your sleeve and then put a yearly patch below it for every year you ride on the DS.
We could also do mileage patches, or say 5 year/10 year/ 15 year anniversary patches.
Also, it would then be much easier each year to decide on a saying instead of another design.

Re: Patches
Exactly, because at the rate these tire wear I'll have no more vest space by the time I get to CT#2! :pirat:Badmoon wrote:Im diggin this. This works for me. Sorry doc, I read what you had posted before but did not get it. This is cool and wont clog up the vests.

I really liked last years patch and a lot of people already have it. I would think it would be easy to order more for new members and then we could just do year patches from here on out to keep the vests looking like vests and not so much a lunch box.
