We had planned a ride to Mt.Mitchell , North Carolina on New Years Day for the 7th annual " Kiss My Ice Ride " but the weather will not allow with snow and ice coming to the highest point in the south.Give me some infomation on the ride you have planned for New Years...Hook-up points ... Routes and time if possible....Are you going to be at Deals Gap Store ( The Dragon ) ?

Smokin'Joe,
I understand from the "Rides" forum, there is a ride starting at the BP Station in Tellico Plains at 10:00 on Jan 1st. If I am correct, Goose is setting it up and it will go on the Cherohala and the Dragon and Back to Tellico. Check out the "Rides" section of this forum and look for the Polar Bear Ride heading. Hopefully it will be decent weather. Semper-fi MIke
