New member, again
Well I been hangin' around for a while and thought I would introduce myself, again. Rob from Freedom NY. Yep, same one from the OB. Got 3k on the 165. I think it will be 2 years or better before I'm ready for a new one, so you guys have my blessing on the progress your'e making with the 205, or who knows what it'll be by then. You go Twin! Its not too cold to ride today at 27*, but we live in the buckle of the snow-belt and theres snow on the ground salt and sand everywhere. I've been saying for a couple months that if the snow melted and they broomed the roads, after a good rain I could be riding in a week. Gotta keep optimistic. Not like thats gonna happen for almost 3 months, maybe 2 or 1. In the mean time, I visit the bike in my walk-in basement and put on 6 inch hd risers (stock cables) Filed the fins and painted the engine, by the way, one time I heard a guy saying he was planning that on a weekend. Yeah right, I got every bit of 60 hours in a 4 week period on this project. He's a better man than I. Sure turned out nice though, can't wait to see it in the sunlight. Seats going out to BadX this week, encouraged by my wife. So, I'd like to stick around this new and improved site and throw in my expieriences from actual participation on occasion. Thanks

Hey freeindeed,
Glad to have you back. Now, it's starting to feel like home.
Glad the 165 is working for you. When that 165 you got ever wears out....aint no telling what we will be riding on then............

Re: New member, again
Welcome aboard. Took a little ride with Twin this afternoon and watched his 205 as he took the lead. He twisted the throttle and dumped the clutch and the rear twisted to the left little and he was straight up and gone. Looked good to see the control that the 205 gave him. Twin is an old flat tracker so he knew what to expect. It looks better than the 165 he replaced. If you do like Twin or Smokey did doing all their burnouts you can replace yours a whole lot faster.
