Had the General Altimax HP 185/65/15 put on Tuesday. Have not been able to take ride until today. I really like the new ride alot so far. I think going from the 80 to 65 has help with take offs. If any increase in rpm's, it is very small and barely noticable at all. Seems to have helped at around 55 to 60 when in 5th gear. Use to lerch a little when in 5th gear. Starting off at 35 psi. Noticed just a small amount of loosness in a few curves in 2nd gear. Going to increase psi by 2lb's until I get this to where it feels good. Tire will probably need around 200 miles of breakin before ride really gets right.
Thanks for all of everyones input and help.
If I need to do anything else other than psi increase let me know.
Thanks again. Very Happy

Thanks Doc. Did not realize it until now that you are in Missouri. Rode with 5 other bikes 2 weeks ago up into Arkansas to view the colors in the mountains. Also rode through a little bit of Oklahoma and the Southwestern tip of Missouri. That area was Southwest City which had some nice colors also.
Thanks again.

Post  shadowman06 Mon Nov 16, 2009 1:10 pm

Increased air pressure to 38lbs psi and what a different ride from 35lbs psi. Going to around 39.5lbs psi on next trip. Went 230 miles on it yesterday. Curves, speed, handles just great. Thanks again for all the help.
