First road trip of the year!!!

That's right. I'm finally breaking free and going for a ride.

Next weekend I'll be heading up to Arkansas. I'm sooo excited for the ride. I did it in a car once and was salvating at the thought of doing it on the bike. I'll be headed to the Fayetteville area I believe.

Anyplaces between NE Texas and that corner of Arkansas that I should be sure to stop by?

before 540 was built I went north on hwy 71 into fayetteville and I thought it was a great road. It has been 30 years so I don't know what it is like now.http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Winslow&state=ar

Take exit 13 off I40 and follow it north to Fayettville, that's old 71, beautiful ride. Look me up, I'm just north of the Arkansas Line, 60 miles from Fayettville.

Dress warm!

My sis-in-law told me about the cold conditions right now. Hope it warms up a bit. I'd hate to get there with icicles on the goatee. Once I get up there I'll see what my time looks like and I'll give you a shout. My first priority is to help remodel a house. I may be in touch.
