Use of a Car Tire on the Rear of a 1988 Goldwing 1500

I am trying to get some information for a friend of mine who used to have a Valk and now has a 1988 Goldwing 1500 with a side car. He is wanting to put a car tire on the rear of the Goldwing and was wondering about sizes and type.. i.e. I believe that the 1500 Gold Wing used a bias belted tire vs the radial used on the Valc. Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated.

what size is the stock tire on the wing? That will help a lot figuring out what size CT you'll need...

Googled 1988 Goldwing 1500 specs and came up with a 160/80/16. Maybe one of you "old time darksiders" can figure out what CT will fit. 80 profile throws me off as does the 160 width. Might be closer to what 1300's use than those of us with an 1800.

My twin brother on his wing runs a 195/50/16 Toyo Proxes 4.
