Bridgestone Potenza question
Been reading the forums quite a bit and finally decided to go to the darkside myself. Decided to go with the Potenza G019's. Well I couldn't find the 205/65/16's so I chose the 60's. Well after ordering( on line) a friend some 55 series for their car I must have ordered a 55 for my bike. Does anybody know if these will run alright and what difference they'll make, or should I try to return it and reorder???

Re: Bridgestone Potenza question
people run them and they work fine, your speedo will read faster (if I remember right) and you'll feel a little more power because the tire is slightly smaller

Re: Bridgestone Potenza question
Thanks- I really didn't want to go thru the trouble of returning it, plus I need to get it on the road!

Re: Bridgestone Potenza question
I'm running a 55 series and have no problems. Went with the 55 series cause I have a 1300 final.

Re: Bridgestone Potenza question
I see people have 1300 finals. I ride a 03 1800c and am using the stock final. What's the difference, and will the stock final have any bearing on me using the Potenza 205/55/16's?

Re: Bridgestone Potenza question
So is the speedo on the VTX's hooked to the rear tire?
Y'all mentioned a difference in the speedo, so I'm assuming that is the case. Is that correct?

The speedo is hooked to the "transmixer"! (it's called a "transmission", if you live in any other state than Louisiana)..

Re: Bridgestone Potenza question
I run a 205/55 and a 1300 rear and the combination has my speedo about DEAD ON accurate, GPS tested.
