Brasstown Bald Georgia / 386 beautiful miles
Took off early yesterday morning headin' to Brasstown Bald the highest point in Georgia. Temps was on the cool if not cold side when I rode out. Rode out by the lake into Tellico Plains then on out the outstanding twisties of Hwy.68 through Coker Creek, Tennessee. By the time I crossed into North Carolina it was t-shirt weather.I stopped at Field Of The Wood to remove a couple layers of clothes.

I was runnin' early and drove by " BOOGER HOLLOW " after about a mile I said " I'm ridin' Booger Hollow " so I turned around and did Booger Hollow . It turned out to be a pretty cool road with nice curves and sweepers.

Here's a shot of the summit at Brasstown Bald back when I had my Goldwing my wife and I walked to the top it was in the 90's that day I've been back several times since but that walk to the summit is the only time I've went to the top its kind of a " Been There , Done That " now .

Then the Georgia crew mostly members of The North Georgia Motorcycle Club with some VRCC throwed in I never counted but I'll guess we had 25 plus bikes when we rode off the mountain to Rib Country for lunch.

After lunch it was time to head out toward home I took the long way through Murphy and Andrews , NC so I could go play on The Dragon. I rarely ride alone but today was awesome the weather was perfect and the 386 miles I put on BADMOJO was outstanding.

Re: Brasstown Bald Georgia / 386 beautiful miles
Cool ride and nice pics as always. I once thought that walk was something, then I hiked the 11 miles to the top of Laramie peak (10,274 ft) from the base parking lot of about 7,000ft. After that walk most everything is just a hill nowadays. The bald is a pretty area though, been there many times, only once on a bike.
The nice thing about that country is you can't find a bad road to ride. They are all fun.

I agree George that part of Georgia has some outstanding roads for the art of motorcycling.

Yeah, it's me.
I remembered you posting about this board a while back so I thought I would take a look. Your ride pics loaded right up on this board although they took a few minutes for my prehistoric connection. Not sure what the problem is on the VRCC board with me seeing em.
