Car tire on BMW K1200LT

HELP!
I did a search on this forum and found nothing on using a car tire to replace the rear 160/70/R17 Avon Storm ST I am now running on my 1999 BMW K1200LT. As a K1200LT is an 800+ lb. bike it can be a bit hard on tires.
Has anyone got information on this car tire to motorcycle wheel swap? Any and all information will be appreciated!
