Has anyone heard anything more about being able to install a car tire on a spoke rim?
i am curious. I would like to know before i spend the money to buy a new wheel.

They are the same width, and I did have one on, but hit a peice of firewood in the road and broke a belt in the ct and bent the rim. There are some others that have also, and put tubes in, mine were sealed rims.

I have 16" spokes, 3.5" wide wheels on my RoadStar 1600 cruiser. I put on a Dunlop SP5000 radial tubless on. I did use a tube. The tire shop only put them up to about 45 lbs. to seat them (if I understood the guy right),

500 miles on them and no problems.
