I haven't got a clue but it looks like the leaves of a Sweet Gum tree right over the windshield in the second picture. My guess is it must be somewhere down south.

About 2/3 of the way up the dragon there is a road off to the left that goes down to the power plant. I caught it on my way back through so I exited off to the right. Much smoother transition that way. Anyway about a half mile down this road is a right handed curve with a bigger gravel area for parking on the left (in the curve) . Park in that area and this Mission house is stuffed back into the woods. Enjoy the scenery when you get out that way. It is worth slowing down for.
