Not foing to be able to stay as I am working midnights that weekend. It will have to be a day trip for me. It is only about 120 miles from the house though so it won't be to bad. I will get off work at 6am ride home cleanup and load up my son. He wants to make the run too. Can't ask for a better riding partner than him. I still have your numbers so I will call you when we are near.

still not able to ride yet . do me a favor when ya go through crawfordsville you will see two huge rr donnelley an sons plants. cover the boys eyes an flip em off for me. worked for them cheap putz's for 23 years. never miss a chance ta let em know how i feel about em even if i have ta do it by proxy. have a great trip an a safe one.

I'm going somewhat out of my way to hook-up with another Tennessee rider and it looks like it'll be alittle over 550 miles for us on the 19th. This is not " my " ride they have it every year in fact this is the 5th year in a roll. It will more than likely be late evening for us. I'd love to hook up with you just can't say " Yeah I'll be here at this time " cause as of now I don't know ???? Below is a COPY/PASTE of all the info I have on the ride.

Joel B may be able to set up for meals at Ground Zero.

I've already let Big Mike know of this possibility. He has also made a very generous donation for this years event!

I am open to other vendors, all would be welcome.
There could be others interested.
(Nice Tat parlor downtown Cville, hehehe)

Itinerary
Friday September 19 - Arrive Ground Zero:

Holiday Inn

Approx. 6pm dinner buffet at the Holiday Inn. Pool Party to follow, the Hospitality room will be open!

Saturday September 20

10:00 a.m. -ish Leave for Rockville, Indiana from Holiday Inn, Crawfordsville, IN
Rockville is a small town in western Indiana where US 41 intersects with US 36. We will meet at the SE corner in the Burger King parking lot. There is a Shell station and a CVS pharmacy on the west side of the intersection.

We will meet up with any other riders riding up from the south in Rockville. Gas stations are close by to top off the tanks, make “pit stops”, and Burger King has a breakfast menu for a quick meal.

12:00 p.m. Leave Rockville KICKSTANDS UP!

We start the route with a quick trip to Mansfield Mill and village. Group picture to be taken here. We will then visit the new Bridgeton covered bridge. We will ride an approximately 50 mile route thru backroads of Parke Co.

4:00 p.m. approx. Arrive Rockville US41/US36

Riders depart for Crawfordsville. Those wishing to check in at the Holiday Inn will have time to do so. Local riders will meet at the American Legion hall, site of the HSRI / CBR BBQ .

Refreshments and restrooms will be available, riders may patronize the Legion bar (sign in as a guest if you don’t belong) before the BBQ. Soft drinks and bottled water will be available also. The Legion hall is just north of the National Guard Armory.
Approx. 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. HSRI/CBR BBQ and Festivities (Rain or Shine!)
We are very pleased to announce that Joel B will be providing another excellent meal for us this year at a reasonable price. It will have the same high standards that he provided at InZane 8 this year, and all you can eat. Food, drink, and deserts will be available!

Ground zero for post BBQ activities will be at the Holiday Inn, Crawfordsville, IN. Hospitality room open! Bring what ya got for refreshments! Craziness is allowed. The Holiday Inn lounge will be available for late night partying, dancing, and tomfoolery!!!!
