Re: first timer
Not sure about the VL800 intruder. Do you know what tire size is on there now? The motorcycle tire on my bike was 170/80/15 and I used a 185/65/15 car tire.

yes it is a 170/80/15 and i am going to remove the wheel and measure the inside to see if we can go wideside on it when the time comes. You see he just got it and the tire looks almost new, he was told that the tires were changed only 200 miles ago. so he will be awhile before we change him to the Darkside.
have fun out there,

The heck with the mileage, the safety of the car tire is more important to me....The car tire keep me out of 2 accidents last week alone.... Get him switched over as fast as you can. If you dont and something happens you will forever wonder if it could have been avoided with a ct.....JMHO

Re: first timer
he will not change over , he wants to have it just like this. for now .
it is up to him , a man has to do what he feels is best.
each person has to decide for themselves , talking them into it doesn't do anything
but take away the persons right to decide. the Darkside is not for everyone but maybe someday it might.
Let them decide for themselves , I set an example if they want to fallow, that is up to them.

Do you think that you could post a picture of your M50 from the side. I just want to get a feel for what the bike is going to look like from the side before I go to the Darkside! I like the idea but I don't want the bike to look lopsided. Also, can you tell me roughly what the mounting costs were for the wheel? Thanks for any information you can provide .. I can't want to join the darkside!!

Re: first timer
$35 to mount it. It's 185/65/15 General Altimax HP that was about $70. Trust me it rides great!
