Whitewall
Hi folks, I'm most definately putting a car tire on the rear of my RoadStar when the Bridgestone is gone. I have WhiteWall MC tire front and rear right now. I doubt I'll be able to keep WWW and will probably have to go blackwall, but thought I would ask; Has anyone addressed the whitewall problem and resolved it? Any input appreciated...............Mike

Re: Whitewall
So a search. I think some folks have painted their tire with success.

Re: Whitewall
I think I'll have to deal with blackwalls. Not much for painted tires. Thanks for the reply.....Mike

WHITE WALLS
THEY ACTUALY HAVE MADE A MACHINE THAT CUTS A FINE GROOVE IN SIDEWALL AND USES SOME KIND OF DYE FOR THE WHITEWALL. I HAD A SET DONE AT A CAR AUCTION YEARS AGO (THEY LOOKED AND LASTED GOOD ON THE CAR.)IF YOU KNOW ANYONE THAT GOES TO THE BIG DEALER AUCTIONS HAVE THEM CHECK IT OUT FOR YOU OR YOU MIGHT JUST CALL ONE. THEY USED A ROLLER MOTOR AND DID IT RIGHT ON THE CAR. LARRY S.
