New Years eve worries me....
Re: Tailgunner?
I know the feeling all to well, I ride down 360 on a nightly basis. I pass about 12 different bars and a large dance hall that will be filled with idiots that think they can walk a straight line while they stumble out to their cars and trucks. This year I won't be one of those people since I have to work, but I get to play dodge the drunks instead. Wonder if I can get a tailgunner like this one to block for me.

Wish I could ride my bike to have those troubles. It is amazing the scents you pick up on riding the bike. This a a good time of year to be wrapped up by the cage though with all the extra hazzards on the road.
I would like to have that tailgunner for daily commuting myself. There are enough idiots out there that I could justify the action.

Re: Tailgunner?
There but for the grace of God...go I...
The story
That was likely seconds behind me...there were not many bikes out last night...the cold does that...and I passed one northbound about 2 miles back from that exit...just before 2am...
I likely waved to this man...
Y'all be safe!

Yep, I can't do it any more and I don't see how I got away with all I did.
There are gonna be so many road blocks around here that Vicki and I have decided around 5pm to get on our sweats and run around the corner to a Mex. restaurant and eat have a couple of drinks and come home. I enjoy just being normal with her.
After 15 yrs of casino NYears parties it nice to not hear the noise !!

Gotta agree haveme1; too many times I escaped getting hurt or put in jail. Tonight my significant other and myself will stay off the streets and away from the celebrations. Time to sit in front of the TV (with a little drink or two) and see if the guy from Australia is able to jump the length of the Rio football field; at least it is supposed to be on ESPN tonight. That's all the thrill I can stand for one night.

Re: Tailgunner?
My Dad used to work every New Year's Eve as a musician at local jazz clubs. We were never allowed to go out on New Year's because of all the amateur drunks that are out that night. We were our typically boring selves. We went to bed about 9, read for awhile, hebear fell asleep and I had insomnia. I took a sleeping pill around midnight and fell asleep about one. That's the limit to our excitement these days.

I'm working on a rocket pod mod with a HUD. Its not DOT or DOD approved, but it will give new meaning to the New Years Eve fireworks show.
