How to tell your brakes need to be changed
Normally I'm pretty good about keeping my rides in good condition, but from time to time I get busy and something slips by. I've been enjoying the weather so much this past year that I didn't notice my front brakes. Never noticed that it took longer to stop and never even bothered to check until I had changed out my brake line. That's when I saw something that kind of worried me a little. When you see something like this.....
makes you kinda wonder just how lucky you really are. When you only have enough padding on your brakes to allow you to see where they're suppose to be, it's time to be thankful you caught it before they went out on you. To give you an idea on just how little padding there was, take a look at a peice of paper and how thin it is, my pads were thiner then that.
I'm happy that I decided to just go ahead and replace them and not spend an arm and a leg just to have the stealer do it.

I guess it's like cars ... you can ruin the rotors if ya don't keep pads on there !!!!
