Dyna Beads - tips Empty Dyna Beads - tips

When I took my Kumho off, I had 5k miles with Dyna beads in it. When I took it off, the dyna beads were still free floating.

What I did was put my CT on with Vegetable oil. Used no grease or other products that might not go away.
Waited 500 miles before putting in Dyna beads.
Installed per the manufacturers instructions.

I did notice a well balanced ride with Dyna beads.

Now, I did replace this tire and balanced the new one manually. I AM able to tell the difference between a manually balanced tire and the old dyna beads. I'll be waiting 500 miles and installing more dyna beads in this tire.

Hey Steve-O,

I'm glad the tire worked for you. It was good to meet you the other day (Sat.). Ride safe.

Question.... if you wait 500 miles to install the beads (which I get, time to let stuff dry up from installation).... isn't your tire likely, or possibly, unbalanced until then? I want to use dynabeads, because I want to get rid of butt ugly wheel weights, specially on the chromed wheel... and I want to get a chromed back... So I'm asking for edification.

We manually balanced the tire when we put it on. Used stick on weights.

500 miles is long enough for the vegetable oil to go away. We used a lot to put the Kumho on, and the inside of the tire was dry when we took it off. So, 500 miles was long enough. What you don't want to do is put dynabeads in there with liquid or other goo floating around, as the dynabeads will stick to this and not balance the tire.

When you put in dyanbeads, there is no need for the weights any more. I took my weights off when I put the dynabeads in. Yes, much better look.
