Oil usage

Okay, I switched to Rotella T synthetic about 2500 miles ago. I keep checking the level, but it never gets lower. I have never owned a bike that didn't use some oil. Is anyone else out there not using any oil. (sorry Muntz I mean one thats actually being rode)

In all my miles on all 3 bikes I've owned...never a drop of oil used...but they've all been Hondas.

none here, maybe a drop, but how can you measure a drop? i love my x not my ex.

mine uses about 1/2 a quart every 1000-1500 miles, but it spends literally hours at a time running 90+

I have never noticed mine using any oil at all but its still in the break in period it only has 28700miles on it.

Over 56,000 and never put in oil between oil changes

mine uses half a quart every 3-4 k

OK, just checked my oil and I guess the oil consumption has went up pretty bad now. I was just over a qt low at 1,200 miles! I've been getting irritated with this and now I am starting to get just plain mad. I love this bike, but it vibrates terribly between 85-90mph which is where I ride for hours at a time regularly.

If I still have it come winter I will be throwing a turbo on it, but I may have to tear down the engine first and figure out why the vibrations and oil usage.

oh well, just had to come rant after adding over a qt to a bike with only 16k miles on it.
