Re: Hi! Please Allow Me to Introduce Myself
thank y'all for the warm welcome.
Does it grip? Oh! He** yes it grips.
I'll tell y'all a little something. I was first intrieged by darkside tires by a buddy from work who put one on his Valk. So I checked the stories on the internet that he turned me on to, and I was imediately convinced. Told myself it would save money and all that.
Schizer! It cost me, I aint gonna tell ya how much it cost me, My wife might find out. I guess if I really wanted to save money, I wouldn't ride such a gas hog.
So, buying an Eagle tire blew the whole effort to save money. But you can't believe all the compliments I've recieved, and yes, I actually think my stopping distance is significantly shorter with the 8.5" wide tire. I will Never try a burnout, though the 1800 probably could do it easily. Thats not how I ride. Even though that thing is like puttin' around town in a top fuel dragster, thats all I do, mostly, is putt around back & forth to work doing the speed limit. I just love the feel of the imediate torque when I just touch the throttle. but thats another story. for another time.
Peace. Max.
