I DID IT!

I DID IT! i am now an official darsider! and thanx to your ideas and especially to papa... I am the second person to install a wideside using a tube! I got it done with the original tube! very dangerous though and by accident! i tried papa's methond of 85 psi and running the bike 130+ (on the jack). it didn't want to work... so i said f@(k it! i'll go up to 100 psi... started putting air 50. 60. 70. 80 psi... then my gage started going up and down between 70 and 80... didn't know what was going on. figured the pressure was to high in the tire that the compressor was unable to force any more air in. so aggrivated and determined i kept tring to put more air... i then heard a pop... the right side had beaded! curious why it hadn't beaded at 80 psi before . i took a different tire pressure gage... wouldn't you know ... i had 120+ psi in the tire! the other tire gage was no good! scared the s#!t out of me! the left side hadn't poped yet so i figured i came this far... i started her up and put her in to hyper drive at 120 psi! baried the needle130+! and there wen't the second pop! ta-da! i am now an offical darksider! p.s. i used the Falken Ziex ZE-512 205/65R-15 94H B

Good for you . That is a good looking tire to! You may of had to put the extra air in because of the smaller tube. So now you woud be the first with a stock tube Keep us up to date on how you like the tire.
