Where can I find a 175 60 16 runflat or zero pressure?
Been searching and can't seem to locate a 175/60/16 run flat for a 1500 Goldwing, any suggestions? TIA

i would like it to be but I guess if I can't find a runflat, I'll go non runflat. Will a 195/55/16 really fit a 1500 Wing? Any problems with rubbing or anything? Thanks for the reply.

I have found that the wider the tire + shorter sidewall will increase the crossover effect that you feel as the rider in the twisties. I like the 175 or 185 tire in the right height so that I don't have to work so hard when the road gets to the fun stuff. A 175/60-16 tire will give you more traction than any motorcycle tire you can buy.

I've come to trust Rod's answers and opinions, and let's consider the other side of that formula: it appears that the few tires with high
speed wobbles have very TALL sidewalls, as in the 175/75/16 Austones and Khumos. but there are so few, we don't really know much
on that.

I got this info from Steve Saunders Goldwing forum. I removed the posters name because I don't have his permission to use it. I hope this helps.Pooch2 wrote:Been searching and can't seem to locate a 175/60/16 run flat for a 1500 Goldwing, any suggestions? TIA
Chief
I seem to have found a Source for the Dunlop 175 60R 16 Wintersport ROF!
Per suggestion of "XXXXX" I contacted some local Mini car dealers and got confirmation from Crevier Mini** that they can get the tire within 2-3 business days, for $197.56/ea + tax
So then, I hope to see one of you fellers place an order ...If I can help that effort, then let me know, as I live close to Santa Ana.
