Hi All,

Has anyone use the Metzeler 130/70-18 Rear tire on the front of a GL1500? If so how did it work for you (wear, rain and mileage)

Thanks

I was doing a seach on Motorcycle Super Store for 130/70-18 rear tires and thats one of many that came up. I liked the tread design on it but I was wondering if someone tried it.

Thanks

Metzeler ME880 Empty Well, on my harley...

I used ME880s on my 2003 RK Classic. I went to these because of the grip which was outstanding. I got 20K and 23K on the front, well worth the money. This may be totally useless information as the weight bias, rake, tire size and other factors are different on the wing. YMMV.

I really like the ME880s I always felt safe when carving the twisties or in OMG!!!!

I am fairly happy with the stock G709 on my wing. But one can never have enough stickiness out front.

I'm running the Bridgestone Battlax BT 45 (rear tire) up front and it is running true and smooth so far with no complaints from me.

If you can move up to a 140/70-18 this BT 45 would be the tire to get
