My banking institution fired me ..... But I didn't go to jail Empty My banking institution fired me ..... But I didn't go to jail

As a lot of you know I have been planning to buy a Valk Interstate for over a week now. I have had the loan approved and carrying the check and contract with me on the bike during this time. No problem so far. Right?
Well the agreement is that I would bring cash for the bike, again not a problem as the check is made out to me OR the seller. I go to another branch of the credit union I have been using for the last 5 years. Side note here. The branch I normally do all my business at is a small branch thast originally was just a credit union that serviced the plant I work at and the others in our industrial complex. About 2 years ago they started looking to merge with a slightly larger credit union. I was against it then and voted such. I was out voted and the merger went through. Okay no big deal. I will still do business with the same people I have been dealing with. Back to todays adventure: I went into a larger branch with the check that was issued through their corporate loan department. I knew it was not good when the teller said hold on a minute I have to check with the manager. Well after 45 minutes of back and forth with these 2 dipshits at the bank they tell me that the check is no good and before they can issue another one I have to have the seller fax a copy of the title with them written in as the lein holder. And ohhh don't worry we are open til noon tomorrow. Well I kind of lost it. Okay kind of is a serious understatement. I tore the check the contract and athrew it at the desk and told them they were the biggest bunh of ass clowns I have ever done business with. I never did raise my voice but there was no doubt in their mind that I was teetering on the edge. I think the shaky voice and the truly frustrated and pissed off look in my eye gave it away. I turned out of the office picked up the helmet off the counter I had set it on and pushed through the doors. Here is where the police get involved... Apparently when I puished through the second set of doors I pushed it a little harder than it needed to be pushed and it came off the hinges. Like I give a rats ass .... but..... The girl came running out into the rain and yelled that I had just tore up their door, what could I say except what I was feeling. "Good" was my answer. Well knowing the town like I do I just rode down the road a couple blocks and waited for the law. True to form they were there as I was shutting the bike down. I explained to the officer that stopped me whayt had happened and why. He was fairly sympathetic but he had a job to do too. So i got to stand around with him for another 45 minutes and BS a bit. I also got to explain why my license is suspended and that while I did stop at the credit union I was truly headed to work and it was my next destination. Thank the nice LEO as he said "I will give you that one" whew .... After 45 minutes or so the officer that was at the credit union hearing their side of the story came down and told me that I was no longer a valued member of that branch. Although I was still welcomed at the branch that I normally do business and that if I ever stepped foot into the other branch I would be arrested for tresspassing. Not a problem there. He also informed me that the only reason I was not going to jail was that I was calm while talking to the first officer. I thanked both of the LEO's shook their hands and headed to work. When I got here I went to the credit union and closed my dealings with the whole credit union. The girls in there were all apologetic about the BS I went through at the other branch and one of them that was on the phone said she had tried to get the manager at the other store to let her talk to me as she knows me and pretty much knew where this was heading and that if she had talked to me early on as she wanted to it could have been avoided. Really if she had said "larry I screwed up and need to cut you another check" we would have been good. I am not a totally unreasonable guy. But after 45 minutes of jerking my chain then frying my frigging brain like that ..... yeah I was little pissed.
Moral of the story ..... when dealing with an assinine financial institution that is lending you the money to get a toy you want .... dont go balistic and tear their shit up.
Needless to say. I am not getting the Interstate now.
I told the wife it is all good ....... I will just get one later when I have the cash.

See you out there

Why not go down the road to another bank or credit union. Times are hard now and these folks are willing to deal. I'm betting if you let this bike get away you will wish you had went somewhere else. I let a Blue / Silver Interstate ( my favorite stock color ) get by me and I've kicked my a$$ many times over that. You can't take it with you and it ain't gonna do you no good dead Smile You're only here one time.
