What don't you like????? I really want to know, not to belittle you...but to find out what you don't like!

Sure it will last a long time, but it will never handle as good as a Motorcycle tire.

Really!!! Mine handles better than a motorcycle tire and I feel a ton safer. Smokey , I and a bunch of others drag even the frames of our bikes with no issues at all in the twisties.
Thanks for the info! Well at least you gave it a shot! Maybe it isn't for you!

Re: 1800 Darkside List............
That's true , it's not for everyone .
There was a 1300 rider that went back to a MC tire just 200 mikes after he put it on (can't remember the name).
he said that he couldn't get used to the feel of the bike with the CT on it.You know it might have been counter
steering is what he couldn't get used to , I wish I could remember his name, hummm??
another senior moment for the horseman

Re: 1800 Darkside List............
This is purely MHO & nothing more. I just thought someone may benefit from this. I absolutely hated mine at first because as soon as I got it out of the shop I tried to do a sharp turn into traffic & almost dumped the bike. It seemed as if the bike no longer followed my nose so to speak. I thought to myself what did I get myself into...
anywho I've done a lot of practice in tight quarters as well as maneuvering obstacles, parking garages, cornering & perfecting my counter steer. I absolutely will not go back to a mc tire now. I think that it varies upon each individual as to how long you become accustom to the differences. I've also noticed my stopping distance has drastically improved as well as my traction in the rain. I'm not one who pushes the envelope but I certainly push my limits to see just what I can & can't do. After 2 days w/ the tire I was back to scraping the floorboards & feeling natural while riding.

Re: 1800 Darkside List............
I've put 300 miles on my Bridgestone so far, I just dont believe it will ever have the "feel" and handling of a MT. I am going to at least put 1000 miles on it to give it a chance.

Re: 1800 Darkside List............
when i first took the CT out, it was like the wide tire was not in line with the front when i turned, then i realized what was happening as i turn the wide tire would lean over and the outside 2-3 inches was what did the turning in the rear and the middle of the tire was off the ground .
On a tire that is 6" or like mine 7"+ wide that made the tracking move over quite a bit. on a motorcycle tire the front does the turn and the rear tire tracks right in line with the round profile of the tire but with mine the flatter profile, as i started into a turn the tracking would feel like it shifted a little but not slip, just felt different.
I don't know but i would think that with the extra wide Motorcycle tires like the 300 series would feel more like our CT feels .
JMO -- my .02 cents ---for what it's worth,
