went dark yesterday

Post  kennyg on Fri Jul 03, 2009 10:42 am

I finally found a local shop to mount the tire, he had no problems with it, he had a nexen 165/80/15 in stock so i had him put it on the rim. Ok, I put 2oz dyna beads in it, have the rear shocks set at 2, hve 38lbs air pressure. I have front progressive springs, Mcmaster Carr rear bushings, tapered (all balls) bearings in steering neck, still have the dunlop up front with 38lbs air pressure. The tire rides good. but feels funny in the turns, I'm thinking i may need to set the shocks on 3 and change the air pressure to 35, has anyone got any advice.......

Go up to 41psi on the 165/80 for starters...now for the best advice. Give it about 300 miles to break in and you will own it!
