questions for you valk owners
I am picking up an interstate this saturday. While it has a few mods done to it there are others I want to do.
1)What is the best seat to put on the bike? I want a backrest and am 5-9 @ 225lbs. I have read that some brands have issues with the pans breaking.
2)What speakers are recommended for the rear pods, and will they require a seperate amp to push them?
What other mods do yall recomend for comfort and safety on this machine.
Thanks in advance
See you out there

IMHO the Ultimate seat is the best seat made for the Valkyrie. Save some money over others too.

Congradulation on the acqusition of the Interstate. I knew from the way you lusted after mine at Mt Ida that you would eventually get yourself one. You will never be sorry. SmokinJoe likes the Valks so much he has 3 in his stable. I wonder how he decides which one he will ride from week to week.

Valk Interstate is a great choice
I think that the Valk Interstate is a great choice. I'm more of a Tourer man myself. (1998 mostly stock bagger). My wife and I can take a week of camping on the tourer so I don't know why I need anything with more storage. My first ride was on the Interstate. I took it in Daytona the same year that the GW 1800 came out, so I could finally get a ride on my dream bike.
You should check out (if you haven't already) www.valkyrieriders.com. You should also check out all your Valk shopping needs at www.f6riders.com. Between the two you'll find as much Valk info, pictures, and opinions as you can possibly need and more.
