DARKSIDE IN SPAIN (EUROPE)..

Post  frangct on Sun Oct 25, 2009 5:46 am

Hello I am new to this forum, I am in the Old World Spain (Europe) me what to mount tires on my car ... valky

Lo llaman darksiders.

http://mcdarksiders.forumotion.com/general-discussion-f6/

Vsssss

The installation I did myself. Remove the wheel and take it to a tire specialist to install it.

But in Spain I see a problem for these tires, the roads here have many circles
With this type of tire is not nearly as agile.

Will reinstall MC. Although my experience has been positive, with very good option in case of a puncture as an alternative in the absence of MC or adventure routes thousands of miles for its strength.

Hi Frangct,
We also have roads with many circles, (bends, curves or twisties) and most riders adjust their riding to suit the new tire by applying a little more pressure with counter steering, you may also need to experiment with different tire pressures. You may want to read about the Author Daniel Meyers experiences with fitting a car tire to a Valkerie, click on the link below.

Good luck and safe riding with what ever you choose, Jonno. Very Happy

I think Frangct is talking about roundabouts when he mentions the circles.

They just put in four roundabouts in my area of town last year, which at first, I thought was a dumb idea. After I went through them the first time on my bike, it changed my whole perspective. Now I find myself going out of my way to take that route and hit those roundabouts. Everytime I drag my pegs, real good, going through there.

We also have lots of roundabouts here in Australia, it is a system much preferred to traffic lights because it keeps the traffic moving, very popular in europe and the UK. I am going to the UK next year and will also visit France and Spain, will keep a look out for that Valk when I`m there.

In Spain it is very difficult to see a Valkyrie, there are very few. Here is the typical supersport motorcycle and Harley has the custom market.

Today I mounted the tires of my bike and the sensation was as if the bike weighed 100 kg. less.

I must say not bad for car tires for my taste but are higher in the MC behavior.
