Hay yall. Just wanted to pass on some good info for those who have The Kury 2 inch forward control kit installed on your scoot. This will work without the 2 inch fwd kit but Twins light mods lit up my shoes or boots more than the road.

Items needed.
Driving lights 2 inch
2 each 4 inch corner brackets.
1 Automotive relay.
Total cost $27.97.

Step 1
Cut the corner brackets down to 1.5 inch long on one side. Leave the whole closest to the corner. You will then open up the hole to 3/8 inch. Do this to both brackets.
Step 2
Remove the bottom nut Inside on the attachment brackets, both sides. You might have to pull out the bracket some and then bend it so as the light will point in the right direction. Nothing you cant do with a large set of pliers.

Step 3
Mount the lights to the outside hole in the bracket. This position will have them out just far enough to project the beam to the outside of the forks.

Step 4
Route the wires to the inside behind the radiator. This leaves a clean look it is a pain in the butt but you will not regret it later. I grounded the lights to the motor mounts and ran the power (white) wire to the headlight bucket. Connect the two and leave a 3 or 4 inch pig tail to attach it to the relay.
Step 5
With the seat removed it is time to install the relay. Wire it up as directed Not difficult unless you are tired and had a few beers to this point. Like I did. Kept blowing fuses until I pulled my head out I had the two power wires going straight to ground. Thank God for fuses or the fire department would have been involved. Once Twin sent me his drawing of the relay ,Wham-Bam thank you Mam.
Step 6
Snake the light power wire and the control wire to the coil on the relay to the headlight bucket. I had first used the driving light wires from the turn signals like Twins for the for the Coil in the relay and I decided later that I wanted the running lights on too. Inside the bucket is a 3 pin plug for driving light hookup. The Brown wire is the 12 volt switched wire you will want to get the power to the relay coil. The other line goes to the pig tail mentioned in step 4. Once all connections are soldered and covered against shorts, turn you key switch to the on position and check for proper installation.
Step 7
Once your lights are running it is time to double check for proper fitment of the headlight and all your covers. If not refer to Step 2 and down. Once you have confirmed that all your work is tidy and out of site you are ready to go.

I tested the light tonight and what a difference this has made. No more black spot in front and to the side of the bike. I did not even use my high beam. I was able to see so much better. For those of you that dislike the driving lights under the headlight this is the mod for you. It looks clean like Honda did it. It also makes look different and more noticeable. Safety first.

Hope this helps you out.

Badmoon,

Bad to the bone!!!!! Looks great! I am like you....I got called out tonite at midnite and I am riding my bike to work down River Road and it is curvy with no street lights and I am thinking....."We don't need no stinking high beams"....hehehehehehe (said like the we don't need no stinking badges) I turned my high beams on and couldn't tell the difference from low beam the running lites are so good in lighting the road and killing all the darks spots I used to have.

This is a mod I wish I had done years ago, it is so good, just like the darkside! Wish I had known about it years ago before I went to it!

.................bobby

Very nice Moon, my lights give that some look at night. With the regular light bar that most have all the oncoming traffic sees is on big light. The way we have it, it looks more noticeable and cool!! REAPS
