01' RSV now on the darkside
I took my first ride on my darkside tire today, I must say I'm pleasantly surprised, I like the way the bike rides with it, corners & brakes well. Rode home from work in the rain and it stuck like glue. Tried a little hard braking in the rain , you'd need to be deliberate to lock it up! For the most part I couldn't tell anything was different other than it slightly following a few imperfections in the road surface, nothing scary though. Where it really shined was in wet road braking and grip, 5 stars on that!
BF Goodrich 155\80-15 TA Radial on rear
Michelin Commander II 130/90-16 on front
I think I'm gonna be another convert to the darkside.

welcome!
Will be much better when you dial in psi!If you've been reading here you probably know that 1 or 2 psi makes a load of difference.Depends on weight, riding style, and tire sidewall stiffness.Once you find the sweet spot, most of the imperfections in the road will go away.
Mine is 32 psi (warmed tire),I'm running V star 1300,avon am20 roadrunner up front, goodyear tripple tread 205/60/16 rear.Wife can tell if its off 1 psi,too high will follow ruts more, too low will feel mushy in corners.lots of us found stiffening up rear suspension a bit works better too, mine is on 7 of 9 , 300 lbs 2 up 170 1 up
Good luck

So far only about 100 miles on it, I'll give it another 100 before I start adjusting pressures.

2003 RSV Yamaha first time dark
Still have mc tire on front michlin 2 removed command 2 from rear bald only after 10000 now I have a general CT on. Awesome in the rain. Still strange in turns. Also over 85 MPH? I will stay with CT but I think I need a speed rated tire? Think IAM also putting on a front? Running rear at 38 psi Cold
